Mission Ventures is currently managing over $500 million
which is invested in three funds, MV I, MV II and
MV III. MV I, representing $63 million of capital,
completed its final new investment in the first quarter
of 2000, and is currently in the process of being
managed to maturity by the Partnership. MV II, which
closed $225 million of capital in June of 2000, made
its first investment in the first quarter of 2000.
The firm is currently making investments from MV III;
$210 million venture capital fund formed in September,
2004.
All three funds, which
are similar in terms of investment strategy, are predominantly
focused on early-stage investment opportunities in
Information Technology companies. More specific categories
for investment types are outlined on portfolio pages,
and describe the firms depth and breadth of focus
and expertise.
